Known Limitations

The Known Limitations section outlines the current boundaries, constraints, and caveats of the Helika Content Creation Engine (CCE) as of the latest release.

Understanding these limitations is critical for:

  • Setting accurate client expectations during onboarding
  • Guiding product feedback for future development
  • Preventing misuse or workflow errors that could cause delays or compliance issues

This section will cover:

  • Functional Limitations
  • Platform Limitations
  • Content Generation Limitations
  • Knowledge Base Limitations
  • Agent Control Limitations
  • Campaign Module Limitations
  • Analytics Limitations
  • Integration Limitations
  • Performance & Scaling Considerations
  • Workarounds and Mitigation Strategies
  • Planned Improvements

Functional Limitations

  • Single Active Platform (Current) – CCE presently supports only X (Twitter) for live publishing and engagement
  • No Native Profile Management – Profile images, bios, or banners for connected social accounts must be changed directly on the platform
  • No In-Platform Multi-Character Conversation – Characters cannot yet interact with each other in public or sandbox modes automatically
  • No In-App User Role Management – User permissions and access levels are uniform; fine-grained role controls (e.g., view-only, edit-only) are not yet available
  • Thread Creation on X – Multi-post thread support is not yet implemented (planned for future release)

Platform Limitations

  • Platform API Dependencies – Feature availability is constrained by each platform’s API capabilities and policies
  • API Rate Limits – Posting, replying, and analytics retrieval are subject to platform rate limits; excessive activity may be throttled or blocked
  • Platform-Specific Formatting – Posts generated for one platform may not be optimized for others (multi-platform adaptation is planned)
  • Deletion Constraints – Some platforms do not allow deletion of older posts via API, limiting CCE’s ability to remove live content

Content Generation Limitations

  • AI Does Not Learn from Edits – The system currently learns from binary feedback (approve/reject), not from specific text changes you make to posts
  • No Guaranteed Style Adherence in Overrides – Tone overrides for individual posts may still produce slight deviations
  • No Automatic Hashtag Trend Detection – Hashtags must be manually chosen or set in the Character Sheet/Agent Controls
  • No Character Cross-Referencing – AI does not currently pull context from other characters’ Knowledge Bases unless explicitly merged

Knowledge Base Limitations

  • File Format Restrictions – Supported uploads are PDF, DOCX, and TXT; images of text require OCR processing outside CCE
  • No Automatic Conflict Resolution – Contradictory information in the Knowledge Base will not be flagged; AI will attempt to reconcile inconsistencies
  • No Real-Time KB Sync – Uploaded files are processed at the time of upload; continuous syncing from external sources is only available for RSS and linked Google Drive folders
  • No Granular Source Weighting – All Knowledge Base items are treated equally; you cannot currently prioritize one source over another

Agent Control Limitations

  • Platform-Specific Settings Not Yet Split – Engagement weight, rate limits, and audience settings apply globally, not per platform
  • No Conditional Autonomy – Cannot set rules like “Full Autonomy during campaigns only”
  • Red Flag Monitor Delay – Negative engagement triggers may have a slight delay before pausing activity

Campaign Module Limitations

  • Campaigns Module Not Yet Live – All campaign-related features described in Section 7 are upcoming and not currently functional
  • No Retroactive Campaigns – Campaigns must be created before posting; past posts cannot be assigned to a campaign
  • No Mid-Campaign Goal Adjustments – Objectives and timelines must be set at creation; mid-run edits are limited in early versions

Analytics Limitations

  • Limited Platform Data – Analytics are currently available only for X (Twitter)
  • No Sentiment Analysis at Launch – Positive/negative/neutral comment scoring is planned but not yet active
  • No AI-Driven Recommendations Yet – Dashboard insights are descriptive, not prescriptive, until Recommendation Engine is deployed
  • Export Limitations – Data exports are CSV and PDF only; no direct integration with BI tools at launch

Integration Limitations

  • Limited Third-Party Integrations – Current integrations are limited to Google Drive for Knowledge Base ingestion and X API for publishing
  • No Webhooks or API for External Automation – Users cannot yet programmatically trigger posts or pull data from CCE into other tools
  • No Native DAM Integration – Digital Asset Management tools must be used externally; CCE does not sync media libraries

Performance & Scaling Considerations

  • Response Latency – Large Knowledge Bases may slightly increase AI generation times
  • High-Volume Posting – Rapid, high-frequency posting in full autonomy mode may lead to platform throttling
  • Media File Size Limits – Bound by each platform’s upload size restrictions

Workarounds and Mitigation Strategies

  • Multi-Character Interaction – Simulate via manual prompts in Sandbox mode
  • Hashtag Optimization – Use external hashtag research tools until trend detection is implemented
  • Conflict Prevention in Knowledge Base – Manually review and remove outdated documents to avoid contradictions
  • Campaign Simulation – Pre-build posting calendars in external tools to approximate campaign flow until the module launches

Planned Improvements

The following limitations are expected to be addressed in upcoming releases:

  • Multi-platform publishing with per-platform Agent Control settings
  • Thread and carousel support for X and Instagram
  • Sentiment analysis and AI-driven post recommendations in Analytics
  • In-app role-based access controls
  • Direct integrations with Discord, Reddit, TikTok, YouTube
  • Enhanced Knowledge Base tools for source weighting and conflict detection

Keep this section updated as future releases may remove or reduce these limitations
