Getting Started

The Getting Started section walks you through the first steps of accessing, navigating, and preparing the Helika Content Creation Engine (CCE) for use. It is designed for both first-time users—who may never have configured an AI-driven content system before—and experienced studio staff looking to integrate the CCE into their existing publishing workflows.
The goal of this section is to help you:

  • Log in and access your workspace
  • Understand the interface layout and terminology
  • Identify the core modules of the platform and their current status
  • Ensure your environment is set up correctly for content creation

Accessing the Platform

Login Credentials

Helika CCE is delivered as a web-based application. Your Customer Success Manager or Helika admin contact will provision:

  • Workspace Access URL (secure link to your environment)
  • Username/Email

Steps to Log In:

  1. Open the provided URL in a Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave recommended).
  2. Enter your email/username and password.
  3. If prompted, set a new password on first login.
  4. Accept any workspace-specific Terms of Use or NDA disclaimers.
  5. Upon successful login, you will land in your Workspace Dashboard.

Workspace Overview

Once logged in, you will see the Workspace Dashboard, which acts as the control hub for your CCE environment.

Primary Regions of the Interface:

  • Navigation Sidebar: Access to modules such as Content Engine, Agent Controls, Knowledge Base, Campaigns (upcoming), and Analytics (upcoming).
  • Main Content Area: Displays the active module’s workspace.
  • Character Selector: A persistent element (often top-left) showing your currently active AI character and quick-switch options.
  • System Notifications: Alerts for pending content, system updates, safety warnings, or integration errors.
  • User Menu: Profile settings, account preferences, and sign-out.

Understanding the Modules

While this manual focuses on the AI Content Engine, your workspace may contain additional modules—either already active or visible as locked placeholders. These modules represent the expanding capabilities of the Helika Publishing Stack.

Active Module: AI Content Engine

This is the primary module currently available for most clients. It is used for:

  • Creating and managing AI characters
  • Generating and approving content
  • Connecting characters to social media accounts
  • Controlling tone, personality, and engagement settings
  • Uploading contextual knowledge sources
  • Scheduling posts for publication

Planned Modules (Roadmap Preview)

  1. Analytics Dashboard (Upcoming)
    • Workspace and per-character performance tracking.
    • Engagement trends, posting frequency, and best-time-to-post insights.

Environment Preparation Checklist

Before creating your first character or generating any posts, confirm that the following are in place:

  1. Social Media Account Prepared
    • Create a dedicated X account for your character if one does not exist.
    • Ensure login credentials are available and MFA is disabled only if platform policy allows secure OAuth connection without manual entry.
  2. Brand Guidelines Available
    • Prepare any tone-of-voice guides, safe word lists, or banned phrase lists for inclusion in Agent Controls.
  3. Knowledge Base Assets Collected
    • Gather game lore documents, patch notes, or other in-universe materials you want the AI to draw upon.
    • Ensure files are in accessible formats (PDF, DOCX, TXT).
  4. Integration Requirements Met
    • Confirm API access is granted for X and any future connected platforms.
    • If using Google Drive integration for Knowledge Base, ensure the correct folder permissions are in place.
  5. Internal Roles Defined
    • Decide who in your team will handle:
      • Character creation and setup
      • Content approval workflow
      • Agent Control updates
      • Knowledge Base maintenance

First-Time User Tips

  • Start Manual: For your first few days, keep posting mode in Manual until you are comfortable with tone and style.
  • Leverage Templates: Even though full template libraries are planned, save your own “base character sheets” early to speed up future creations.
  • Test Overrides: Experiment with tone overrides during post creation to see how flexible your characters can be without changing their core sheet.
  • Watch for Safety Alerts: Pay attention to Content Risk and Red Flag notifications—they are your first safeguard against off-brand or non-compliant posts.
  • Iterate Personality Slowly: Adjusting too many traits at once can make it harder to pinpoint what changes improved or harmed post quality.

Support Channels During Setup

If you encounter issues during setup:

  • Contact your assigned Customer Success Manager for onboarding support.
  • Submit technical bugs to the Helika Support Portal (link provided by your CSM).
  • Use the in-app feedback tool to suggest UX/UI improvements.
